The tradition of advent windows has been growing in the UK in recent years and, last year, it really took off. Many such projects evolved out of community groups like ours, set up in response to the pandemic. This page showcases our new 2021 advent windows on Devonshire Place and nearby streets.
DPRA membership is open to anyone who lives on Devonshire Place but also to people who live on nearby streets who take an interest and participate in DPRA activities, such as looking after the orchard.
Although we're not featured, there was an interesting piece about the growing trend for advent windows in the Guardian newspaper on 12.12.20. Here's a link. Since then as popularity has increased there have been many more:
